Netriver Data Technologies is run by David White. With experience in XML technologies, data delivery over the internet and advanced broadcast data delivery, David is expert in the use of data within a system.

Internet data technologies specialist.
Invented and patented Prism video streaming. Developed Flitter app framework. Worked on a variety of web technology including Joomla sites, integrating SVG with websites and vector graphics animation.
2005 - 2007 NDS Systems Architects Group
System architecture and advanced solutions.
Worked on architecture for broadcast management systems for large satellite TV platform operators. Involved with realisation of a new XML-based architecture. Developed an advanced, bespoke, 2nd generation Service Information (SI) system for large satellite TV platform operators.
2000 - 2003 NDS Advance Technologies Group
International and European specifications.
David proposed the data indexing solution incorporated into TV-Anytime, allowing low-memory digital TV receivers to randomly access large amounts of data. Later working within DVB to adopt TV-Anytime within Europe, including chairing a sub-group and and acting as editor.
1997 - 2000 BBC Research & Development
Interactive television (red button) data delivery specifications and software.
David was instrumental in creation of the interactive section of the D-book, adapting MPEG DSM-CC technology to work more efficiently. These adaptations were later incorporated by DVB into MHP. David also wrote the software which now delivers BBC interactive services on UK terrestrial TV (Freeview).
